Our Story
Terra Planet was founded by Wilson Gonzalez Sr. and his children; Wilson Jr., Veronica and Diana with the objective to help those in most need. Wilson Sr. has always been helping people either financially or providing support to others. Wilson Jr. recalls when he was a kid that his father took him and his family shopping on Christmas day. Wilson Jr. was happy because he thought he was getting lots of presents for him and his sisters. But after they went shopping with bags and bags of presents full on their car. They went to a very poor area north of Quito, Ecuador called "El Comun". Wilson Jr. didn't understand what they were doing there but soon he came to find out that the presents his father bought were not for him but for other children. He will never forget that day, he said. As he recalls having mixed feelings because as a kid, he was expecting presents for him but at the same time he felt joy giving toy to children that didn't get one every Christmas like him.
That was the start Wilson Sr. said, "and from now on, we will help others whenever we can". And this is how it has always been. We raised money and collected donations for the earthquake in Haiti, hurricane Wilma, Maria, Katrina. It is always to give back to the community.
Our Mission
This is why we decided to create this non-profit organization, to help people. We feel we need to start with the young generations first because they are the future. If we want a bright future for your children, we need to help them. We need to make sure they are well fed, they have all the academic tools in order to succeed in this world. We also need to show them that there is more to it in life as they grow older and the responsibilities that come with it. Like helping others.
Our Policy
Our policy is to be transparent. As a non-profit organization we are an open book when it comes to our practices. We are an equal opportunity company. Our focus is to help those in most need as plain as that.
